Rural Dispatch Schedule
Pearl Powder is lovingly packed on a farm about 15 km outside our nearest town. For this reason, parcels are not dispatched daily. Courier collections occur 3–4 times per week, depending on our trips into town.
Dispatch Timeframes
Orders placed before 12:00 PM (SAST) on business days are typically dispatched the same day or next business day. In rare cases (e.g. public holidays), dispatch may occur on the third working day, but never beyond that.
Stock Availability
All items are subject to availability. If a product is unexpectedly out of stock, we will contact you within 24 hours to offer an alternative or arrange a refund.
Main Cities, Regional, and Outlying Areas:
Delivery takes 1–3 working days from the day the parcel is handed over to the courier.
Note:
Working days exclude weekends and South African public holidays.
Severe weather, road closures, or other logistics issues may impact delivery, but we’ll keep you informed if delays occur.
Primary Courier:
PUDO (Pick-Up, Drop-Off) locker-to-door or locker-to-locker service
Secondary Courier:
The Courier Guy, used for bulk orders or areas not covered by PUDO
Tracking details will be sent to you once your parcel has shipped.
Dynamic Rates:
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight, location, and courier tariffs.
Free Shipping Promotions:
From time to time, we may offer free shipping based on order value or promotion codes. Any active offers will be clearly displayed during checkout.
Deliveries to remote or high-risk zones (e.g. farms, mines, border areas) may incur surcharges or be redirected to the nearest PUDO locker or Courier Guy depot. If applicable, we will contact you to make suitable arrangements.
If no one is available to receive the parcel:
The courier will attempt to call or SMS you,
Try a second delivery on the next business day, or
Redirect the parcel to a PUDO locker for collection.
Uncollected parcels are returned to us after 7 calendar days. Re-shipping will be at the customer’s expense.
All parcels are insured up to the declared value. If your item arrives damaged:
Take clear photos of the outer packaging and the contents
Notify us within 24 hours of delivery via the Contact page
We will assess the situation and arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and correct, including:
Unit or apartment number
Complex name (if applicable)
Contact person and phone number
We cannot be held responsible for delays or losses due to incomplete or incorrect address information.
